An extraordinary life is captivated by the cause of reaching lost people. We value lost people and will go to extraordinary lengths to reach lost people around the world, and in the community where God has placed us. We seek to understand the culture surrounding us so that we can be used of God to communicate and share the Gospel in ways that they can clearly understand. We also seek to provide new doorways into the church so that people can hear the call of Jesus upon their lives.
(Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 15; 19:10)
CORE VALUE #8
An extraordinary church expresses Christ-like compassion. We value expressing the compassionate love of Christ to people who are in need. Jesus Christ calls us to care for the specific needs of those who are a part of the local family of God. We are also called to have compassion for those who have been pushed to the margins of society such as widows, orphans, and the poor. Expression of Christ like love is the primary fruit of following Jesus into an extraordinary life. (Leviticus 19:10; 23:22; Deuteronomy 14:28-29; John 15:10-17; Romans 12:10; 13:8-10; I Corinthians 13:13; Galatians 5:6; Ephesians 5:1-2; James 1:27; I John 3:10).
